Biaxial geogrids have the same resistance characteristic (axial force) in both directions perpendicular to each other, which causes the same behavior of the geogrid in both directions. Biaxial geogrids are used in the following structures:

  • Improvement of square fondations with finite dimensions, such as pad foundation of shed.
  • The road pavement is used by combining other geosynthetic products such as tarry geotextile
  • Industrial and petroleum refineries to strengthen the substrate and increase efficiency
  • In soil structures that need to increase the shear strength of soil in two different directions
